Welcome to Community Church Killingworth. We are a local Christian church that has been part of the Killingworth landscape since 1984. We meet on Sundays in Bailey Green Primary School at 10:30 and in homes and various other Killingworth locations mid week. ALPHA What is the point of life? Why do people suffer? What happens when you die? Is forgiveness possible? These and many more questions are asked and answered on our Alpha course. The meetings are informal and relaxed, beginning with some food, followed by a brief talk and discussion time. People will have the opportunity to share questions, express their opinions and share their ideas without being criticised or corrected. Our next Alpha Course will be coming along soon. CAP - Christians Against Poverty- is a year old! It's hard to believe but our CAP centre has now been running for over a year! We've had the privilege of working with over thirty individuals and familes since we started and see more and more referrals week by week.
We even held a birthday celebration as part of our usual Sunday morning worship on Sunday November 20th! If you'd like to come along and find out more about what we're up to you'd be most welcome any time - don't wait until our next special service.
The church also has coaches who are trained to deliver the CAP Money Course. This is a free course of 3 sessions aimed at empowering participants to save more, reduce their debts and make better financial decisions.
